A dermal filler for fine lines, wrinkles and lip definition, CosmoDerm is a highly purified human-based collagen injected directly into one’s skin providing immediate results as it replenishes lost collagen due to aging, environmental exposure and other factors.

CosmoDerm is one of several injectables offered at the Hughes Cosmetic Surgery and is often recommended to complement Botox. Since each individual’s needs differ, the process begins with a personal consultation. Although a pre-treatment skin test is not required, a client’s medical history will be review to ensure treatment eligibility. In addition, the Hughes Cosmetic Surgery team will discuss a suggested treatment series and periodic touch-ups as a means of setting clear expectations.

Other short-lived effects may include blushing, slight bruising, tenderness or noticeable outline in the treated area. As the new collagen is part of the skin, the treatment site will assume a healthy, natural look.
